    Drama Theatre of the Northern Fleet began with a small amateur theater, which is based at the premises House of the Red Army and Navy, located in the Arctic. The first performance, presented to the public in 1936, was the dramatic production of "Death Squadron" and the first actors themselves were sailors and their wives.

    In 1946 Drama Theatre moved to Murmansk, where he remains to this day. The main theme was the play on the military-patriotic theme, and gradually replenished with new professional team of actors and directors. In 1987 the theater gets a private building, located near the city center.

    For many years the Drama Theatre of the Northern Fleet has repeatedly performed at various venues of the largest Russian cities, participated in festivals and competitions, as well as toured Europe. It is the oldest theater Murmansk region, deservedly earned the love and respect of many viewers.
