  • First Church of Christ, or the Christian Science Church, was built in Boston in 1894. It is the administrative center of religious doctrine called "Bostanskaya Church of Christ." The founder of the church, Mary Baker Eddy, was able to recover from a severe and debilitating disease, paying a prayer to God. First Community Church of Christ emerged in Boston in 1879. Today, this doctrine unites about 1,700 branches churches in 80 countries.

    Church building combines elements of Renaissance and Byzantine architectural concepts. For the construction of a granite quarried in New Hampshire. The temple can accommodate about 900 people. The church is decorated with frescoes, mosaics and stained glass work, which show the biblical events. Floor of the house is covered with slabs of Italian marble and benches for the faithful is made of Canadian red birch.

    This church has one of the world's largest organ - 13389 pipes, built in 1952.
