    Rizopolozhensky Monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in Russia, lasted to the present day. It was founded in 1207 and is located in the northern part of the city of Suzdal. Not far away is the river Kamenka and is an old Kremlin. In the XVI century in the monastery were the first stone structures, but none of the old buildings to this day have not been preserved. In ancient times, the monastery was located outside the city of protection, outside the fortifications and poured.

    Lovers of beautiful architecture, except buildings, be sure to please the Holy Gate. They have two arches of different sizes, each of which is decorated with stone carvings with tiles.
