    Vvedensky Cathedral in Cheboksary is the oldest building of the republic and the federal monument. In this position, the first temple (of logs) was founded in 1555 by Ivan the Terrible. The present stone building was built around 1650s. The cathedral has Nadai Sergius of Radonezh, St. Alexis of God, and the throne of the holy martyr Harlampіya.

    Prior to 1985, located here Museum. Construction over the years repeatedly repaired, but nevertheless, the original form was largely preserved. The interiors of the church contains frescoes of the Classical and magnificent iconostasis. The construction of separate belfry of the cathedral, which has retained its original shape, typical of Moscow architecture of the 17th century.

    Most revered shrines Ўvyadzenskaga Cathedral is considered an icon of the Vladimir Mother of God and Savior of the 16th century; images of Smolensk Mother of God of Kazan and Wonderworker Varsanofy, Herman, Guria with relics of saints.
