    A sign on the building reads: "This building was built in 1420 during the Ming Dynasty. After reconstruction in 1859, the hall attached to the Palace of Eternal Spring. At first, the building was named Yang Wei Gong (General Palace), then renamed Xiang Qi Gong (Palace of Heavenly Purity), and later - in Din Tai Chi.

    In 1596, during the Ming Dynasty, the palace was destroyed by fire. After his recovery Emperor Shenzong (Zhu Yijun) lived in this palace for over 10 years. Now this beautiful building is a valuable architectural monuments and museums.
